Verstappen and Ricciardo on Instagram

Max Verstappen and Daniel Ricciardo have already started the battle before the actual Grand Prix of Japan. On social media Instagram, the two racing drivers from Red Bull are verbally getting on each other’s throat, as a consequence of a meeting with Japanese school children. Yesterday Max had the honor of winning from Daniel in his car on the circuit of Suzuka.

Riccardo started the whole debate by posted a picture on Instagram with the title “Nice welcome to Suzuka from Max & his classmates”. For those who don’t get this little joke, Max is only nineteen years old! And with this he’s the youngest driver to compete in Formula 1. He started in the Australia Grand Prix with 17 years and 166 days. He is also the youngest driver to lead a lap during a Formula One Grand Prix, youngest driver to secure a podium and youngest Formula One Grand Prix winner.

Verstappen responded immediately by posting another picture where every kid is making the peace sign, just like Ricciardo. He posted it saying “Teacher was asking the class to name Daniel’s position on the team”.
